Bi-weekly or Monthly Sessions

I work every other week, Tuesday through Thursday. Most of my clients begin by meeting twice a month to start, then taper to once a month as they feel ready. For those that need more support, I offer longer sessions—up to 80 minutes. EMDR sessions also run 80 minutes.

Telehealth

All sessions are conducted via secure video. You'll receive a link before each appointment—just click it from anywhere in California, and we'll meet online. It's simple, private, and HIPAA-compliant. I also offer phone sessions if you prefer.

Fees

Individual therapy: $265 for 50 minutes (2026 rate). Longer sessions are prorated.

Free consultation: I always offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to make sure we're a good fit.

Insurance: I'm an out-of-network provider. If you have PPO insurance, they may cover a percentage of your sessions. I'm happy to provide a monthly superbill for reimbursement. Just let me know during your first session.

Payment: My scheduling software is connected to Stripe for easy payment processing.

A Cancellation Policy That Doesn't Feel Restrictive

Life happens. You get sick. Kids have emergencies. I get it.

Here's how cancellations work:

  • For illness or emergency: Call or email within 30 minutes of your appointment. We can do a phone session if you feel up to it, or we can reschedule if I have availability.
  • You get 3 fee-free cancellations per calendar year. Use them however you need, no questions asked.
  • After your 3 cancellations: Additional absences will be charged at your full session fee unless we're able to reschedule.
  • For planned absences (like vacations): Please give at least one week's notice so I can offer your time to someone else.
  • Late cancellations (less than 30 minutes before your session): You'll be charged for the missed session.

My end of the deal: If I'm sick, I'll contact you as soon as possible to cancel and reschedule. When I take vacation, I'll give you at least two weeks' notice.

Confidentiality

Your personal health information is held in strict confidentiality following HIPAA regulations and California state law. Further details are in my onboarding forms.

Ending Therapy

There's no set time limit on therapy. It's time to end when you feel like your goals have been met and you have the tools you need. Ideally, we'll have as many sessions as you need to talk about ending therapy, review your successes, and plan for your future needs.

As an attachment therapist, I don't see termination as a final ending. If you want to keep me posted on your life, I welcome your emails. And if you need a "tune-up" now and then, I'm happy to see you.
